This is some of the BEST sandwich making
ever! The Reuben with 1/2 turkey is to die
for...literally as your heart clogs, but man is
it worth it. And the garlic sauce is stinkingly
superb. When ever we fly in from British
Columbia we always make a date to enjoy the
extreme sandwiches at The Bread Basket. The
great thing is that it is not about the
atmosphere, but rather, it is strictly about the
food. It is yummy and filling and worth the trip
everytime.
Pros:
Great, filling, real food!
Cons:
You can't eat it every day

From my first teething bagel in the early
60's to my adulthood favorite the 20 & 1/2, The
Bread Basket Deli on Greenfield at 10 & 1/2 mile
is the best deli this side of New York!!! You
can absolutely bring a friend, share a sandwich
and both leave full. Oh and the matza ball soup,
the pickles (old & new) and don't get me started
on the blintzes, Oh the blintzes are to die for
I tell you. Go, go now, you look hungry.
Pros:
Everything they have to eat!
Cons:
Sometimes a little wait in line.
